The Nurse Director of Women’s Services will work with a Medical Center that has been serving the greater New York City area for over 50 years.
The Nurse Director of Women and Children Services will be part of a team that embraces best practices in the delivery of quality care to complex patients across diverse settings with commitment to providing comprehensive, excellent health care that is compassionate and attentive to whole person: body, mind and spirit.
The Obstetrics Nurse Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will have complete oversight of all the inpatient services for Women and Infant Care, including Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, NICU and Pediatrics. The Maternity Services Clinical Director will be in charge of leading staff, ensuring proper patient care is being delivered, setting departmental goals, upholding quality standards, and managing budgets. A great candidate for this OB Nurse Director role will have strong leadership experience in the inpatient settings of Women’s Services.
The Director of Labor and Delivery will provide direct patient care utilizing the CPSP protocols, childbirth education class teaching, individual assessments and support groups and supervising all personnel within the clinic is required. The Director of Women’s Service Line will maintain all statistical analysis, submitting weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.
