About this job
To provide professional assistance to clients that are aged, sick, frail or disabled effectively in all activities of daily living (ADL's and IAD's) including but not limited to:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Grooming
- Toileting
- Mobility
- Transfer Assistance
- Meal Plan/Preparation
- Medication Pick up
- Light Housekeeping
- Laundry
All applicants must be 18 years or older, have 1 year minimum of experience with providing care for the aging or disabled, posses a high school diploma or GED, a current Nevada driver's license or ID., have reliable transportation and show proof of liability insurance, current and verifiable Two-Step TB test, employment physical within the last 6 months ans 3 references (2 professional and 1 personal). You must also pass an FBI and local State criminal background check. Preferred skills: Great communication skills, a kind and compassionate demeanor, ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations, ability to work independently of direct supervision and the availability to attend 16 hour unpaid training.
