About this job

Support the Regional PFDS Team, Prepared Foods Team Leader and Team Members in Prepared Foods Catering efforts at the store level.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Execute Regional Prepared Foods Catering Program for Store. Including maintenance of all in store marketing material. (Podium w/ picture book, catering menus and folders – stuffed and displayed, all regional holiday menus as necessary)

2. Follow Regional Guidelines for Catering Menu including Menu Development, Graphic Design, Recipe Guidelines, Production Guidelines and all Costing. (Food, Packaging and Labor)

3. Work with PFDS TL to implement all Team Member training, information and support material. Includes order taking, maintenance of orders, inter-department communication, food production, communication and delivery to customer. Ensure customer satisfaction.

4. Work with Regional and In-Store Marketing Teams to develop catering presence in marketplace using Regional menu.

5. Maintain focus of Regional Catering Menu to establish consistency in catering programs from store to store.

6. Communicate with PFDS TL and PFDS Coordinators regarding progress and/or challenges with the training and implementation process.

7. Work with PFDS TL and leadership group – attend all meetings as necessary.

8. Report directly to PFDS TL

9. Perform other duties, as assigned

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

1. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

2. Experience in retail food service, Catering and Leadership a plus

3. Ability to work well with others (store and regional)

4. Must be able to articulate vision of Regional Catering program to all TL’s, TM’s and store leadership

5. Ability to use all equipment and tools (must be 18 years of age or older)

6. Basic Safety and Food Handling Knowledge

7. Work well independently and task oriented, persistent and flexible

Working conditions:

1. Standing and walking for extended periods of time, up to 8-10 hours.

2. Bending, stooping, climbing.

3. Mental and physical dexterity.

4. Unassisted heavy lifting.

5. Work in varying temperatures (coolers, etc. when needed).

6. Use of box cutters.

7. Repetitive hand and arm motion.

8. Use of cutlery, kitchen equipment and approved cleaning solutions.

9. Iteration of duties.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a safe and sanitary department. Report all life safety and fire hazards to your Team Leader for correction. Comply with all occupational safety and health regulations. Report all accidents and injuries to your Team Leader or Store Leadership immediately.
