Warehouse Associate

2nd SHIFT WAREHOUSE CLERK

Job Purpose:
Receive, store, load and issue materials, equipment, and other items from warehouse.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:

• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouse.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep supervisor informed on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Provide assistance to other stockroom, warehouse workers.
• Response for the inventory safety and cleanliness of assigned zone.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

   

  Qualifications:

  Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification

  Knowledge and Skills Required:

  Tools/Technology Required:

• Ability to perform simple math.
• Ability to perform in a high paced work environment.
• Ability to multitask frequently.
• Attendance and punctuality is crucial to avoid disruption of work flow.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work Saturdays
