Medical Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

We are seeking a certified Medical Assistant for a family practice and hospital located in SE Portland area. This is a full-time, long-term opening available immediately.

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with prescription refills for patients, taking phone calls, consulting with providers, and entering patient demographics into EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Must be certified as a Medical Assistant (AAMA or NCCT preferred) and have at least 1 year of recent experience.
• Must have strong computer skills - previous experience with an EMR is highly preferred.
