CNC Programmer

-Will be working in office on writing all Offline programs using computer.
- Writing programs for Haas Mill machines using MasterCam program.
- Using Fanuc G and M code programming.
- Assist in set-ups and get first piece through inspections. (ideal set up should take no longer than 30 minutes and first piece should be through the machine in around an hour).
- During first article, programmer will spend time with machinist conducting laminate tests (taking notes on what needs to be changed to make a better part and be more efficient) - this may happen 3-4 times/week on new parts.
- Will be creating programs for Haas Mills and Akuma Mill and Lathes.
- Will be creating programs for machines up to 4-axis.
- typical tolerances fall between +/- 1/2 thousandths to typically +/- 5 thousandths.
- Correct inspection procedures and SPC forms (statistical process control) which measures the results of tolerances.
- They machine small components that go onto robotic cameras.
