New restaurant opening on the plaza, job fair at the Intercontinental Kansas City at The Plaza on April 12th from 10:00am to 6:00pm - Full-time / Part-time

Requirements: 

This position is for an employee looking to make the commitment towards a great career in the Hospitality Industry - it is not for a temporary job seeker looking to spend 6 months at American Slang.

This position is excellent for a culinary school or hospitality school graduate, but is also for someone who wants take a big step in their Hospitality career.

• Experience working in fine dining is preferred - but intelligence, motivation and a friendly, healthy, positive attitude certainly is!
• We seek People with: 2+ years of experience in a reputable, well-regarded restaurant
• Strong food & beverage knowledge
• A polished, professional demeanor, with a warm and hospitable disposition
• Commitment to excellence and success!

Compensation: 

As part of the service team you will be compensated with tips and an hourly rate. American Slang offers medical, vision and dental healthcare benefits after 90 days of employment and a 401K plan and paid vacation time are offered after 1 year of employment.
