Job Summary Statement:
The person hired for the Wait Staff position will provide prompt, efficient and professional food and beverage service to the guests during designated dining service hours and break times in the morning, afternoon and evening. Provide cheerful, sincere and positive guest interaction that reflects 3M values and heritage. Assist Guest Service staff groups with services to the guests and facility including food and beverage service in guest areas, maintaining cleanliness in all areas where services are provided and logistical coordination of dcor and meal time events. Support guests services by answering inquires and providing resolution to guest related issues. Support culinary operations in all areas including prep and dish line support as needed. Coach and train new staff in compliance with 3M guidelines to enhance our operation and assist in all areas of facilities based on assignment.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Prepare appropriate dining areas for specific meals, including setting and decorating tables, buffet and serving lines
* Cleaning required in all service areas
* A cheerful disposition is essential when serving meals and interacting with guests
* Implement proper sanitation and hygiene practices
* Support coworkers in daily operation and follow instructions from lead staff member
* Troubleshoot changing situations
* Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution
* Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service
Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution
* Minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service
Preferred Qualifications:
* Basic computer skills including word and excel
* Experience in fine dining service
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Must be team oriented
* Must be self-motivated
Location: Park Rapids, MN
Relocation: Is not authorized
Travel: Up to 5%
This is a part-time position and will require working 32 - 40 hours per week.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
