Shipper & Receiver 3

Headway Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an Shipper & Receiver 3 for a contract opportunity in San Jose, CA with our partner, a global leader in power and automation technologies.

As an Shipper & Receiver 3, you will...

• Be responsible for the retention and verification of all shipping records which includes checking bills of lading , invoices and orders
• Verifies that materials received are as ordered in both type and quantity
• Route incoming items to various locations
• Prepare appropriate documentation for domestic and international shipments
• Prepare domestic and international documentation for shipment of materials , parts , finished goods and related items
• Check items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities , destination and routing are correct
• Maintain files and records of shipping/receiving documents for domestic and international transactions
• Upload incoming deliveries
• Verify that materials received are as ordered in both type and quantity
• Route incoming  shipments to proper departments or destination

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• 2-5 years of related experience in shipping and receiving
• SAP experience preferred
