Home Instead Senior Care seeks a reliable, responsible, and detail oriented individual to join our team as Weekend Supervisor. As the world's trusted source of non-medical services for seniors, we help people stay in their homes for as long as possible by providing services such as companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping and running errands. Our CAREGivers also provide personal care services helping with bathing, toileting and grooming.
The Weekend Supervisor requires the employee to work every other weekend. The position is responsible for answering all incoming phone calls and responding to client and CAREGiver needs as they arise on the weekend. When the phone rings, you must answer it and handle the issue in a prompt and professional manner. It can be as simple as communicating a time change or as urgent as finding a CAREGiver to fill a last minute shift. This role can be managed from home, but the person must be prepared to visit a client or potential client when necessary. The Weekend Supervisor is the critical link to ensure operations continue uninterrupted during the weekend
The position begins at 3:00 p.m. on Fridays and ends at 9:00 a.m. on Mondays. The Weekend Supervisor is required to start and end the weekend with a visit to the office to ensure a smooth transition. There may also be instances where the Weekend Supervisor provides support on holidays for additional pay.
The ideal person for this position has excellent communication skills, exercises good judgment, works independently and can multi-task. The right individual needs to be available to work every other weekend.
