Position Description
The SVP PartnerManagement | Specialty Partners Group will lead the relationship of severalmid-sized partners.This individual will be chartered with developing deep relationships with all levels of management, both internally and externally, aligning goals and driving profitable business growthand financial success for the partner and Citi. This position will report directly into the General Manager for the Specialty Partners Group.
KeyResponsibilities
* Main partner contactwith overall responsibility for the health of the relationship(s), developing strong connections to key stakeholders and decision makers
* Viewed as a trustedadvisor, ensuring programsare at leading edge of market relativeto competitors.
* Manage contract negotiations, leveraging GM, to renewexisting relationships
* Portfolio and P&L owner - programmanagement of key financial driversand contractual P&Lrequirements.
* Manager of teams with direct partner contact
* Interface with external partnersenior leaders
* Create, drive and executestrategic vision
* Coordinate cross-functional collaboration
Key Collaboration Points
* Work with external partnersto align businessgoals
* Coordinate COE supportacross front- and back-office groups
* Monitor externalenvironment to ensuremarket competitiveness
Business and TechnicalRequirements
* 10 years partnermanagement experience with financialservices, card industry, and partnerships
* In-depth knowledge of private label card space/ independent dealerenvironment - preferred
* Strong relationship management skills and experience with mid-senior client executives
* Demonstrated success in managinginternal and externalpartnerships and abilityto navigate and drive results in a highly matrixedbusiness structure
* Prior P&Lmanagement, strong financial acumenand analytical skills
* Service center, operational experience and/orstore training experience desirable
* BA/BS required
* Required to travel up to 25% of the time.
