Position Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and fit of Polo Denim product within given standards. Technical Design is also responsible for a Production Ready specification package that enables factory and QA to produce a fit and construction consistent product.Key Responsibilities:Partner with design from initial development to Stock fit, to ensure integrity of fit and garment constructionComplete a high quality production ready Technical Package, with all componentsComplete Block Templates in PLM in alignment with Block patternsConduct fit sessions with design and production partners of prototype and stock fit samples to present execution and getting approval for productionReview pattern/sample to ensure balance and standard markings are correct and followed as instructed. Update Technical Packages with fit corrections and explain changes to vendor/overseas officesPartner and communicate with off-shore business partners ie. vendor/production office regarding fit and construction of samples, as well as solving any potential execution issues regarding the styleTrack proto/stock fit samples and communicate with business partners in Production/Sourcing to ensure alignment on current status by styleWork closely with Production team to stay on top of T&A schedulesAttend weekly WIP meetings by brandOrganize and handle Fit schedule (book model, send invites, prepare samples)Handle special projects like Olympic game uniforms etc.Facilitate, prepare and help pull together Wear Test, New Block Size Run fittings, Core fit reviews etc

Requirements:College degree or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 8 years related Technical Design work experienceThorough understanding of pattern-making process & fit/styling on live modelStrong problem solving skillStrong written communication skillAbility to work well within a team environmentKnowledge of PLM/Adobe Illustrator preferred; excellent computer skills required
