Car Wash Attendant

Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic people who prefer working outside the office as opposed to a “desk job”.  You should be a people person who understands the importance of customer service.  It is critical that each customer have a positive car wash experience.  Each Car Wash Attendant is crucial for success of the entire business.  Each customer should leave the car wash with a positive impression of their service on site.  You would also walk around the carwash lot periodically and keep it clean and neat, emptying trash cans as needed.

·         Part  time and Full time positions available.

·         Flexible with class schedules.

·         Enjoy working with cars, greeting customers.

·         Good communication skills

·         Friendly, outgoing personality

·         Professional attitude and appearance

·         Must be available mornings, evenings, weekends

·         Perform exterior car cleaning activities as trained.

·         Pay attention to nuances of vehicles and treat each Customer’s personal vehicle with great care and respect.

·         Act with integrity when dealing with cash.

·         Guide cars into the wash area with a focused, pleasant and competent demeanor.

·         Perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to sending it through the wash tunnel.

·         Come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock.

·         Housekeeping as it applies to job or work area.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

·         Valid driver’s license

·         Access to a vehicle to get to and from work

·         Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

·         High School diploma or G.E.D preferable

Preferred Skills

• Experience in sales and the carwash industry is a plus  
• Someone who is self-motivated and able to work independently.
