Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Skilled Craftman for our client, a 34 year old, Greenville based general contractor, specializing in commercial and residential renovation and expansion projects. The tasks of the Skilled Craftsman range from basic handyman repairs to finely detailed remodels.  Priority on carpentry and finishing skills needed, but experience with drywall, painting, minor plumbing, fixture installs, and electrical tasks is also desired. 

Ideal candidates must:

• Have 5+ years Carpentry experience including building, repairing and installing, cabinets, doors, frameworks, casework, millwork, finishing interior and exterior trim, crown molding, baseboards, chair rail, door and window casing, and other wooden fixtures
• Have knowledge of basic building code requirements for those tasks.  
• Have own customary hand and power Carpentry tools
• Be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings, and follow specific instructions, written and verbal, in a timely manner
• PC or tablet skills are needed

Other requirements:

• Must show a neat and professional appearance and demeanor
• Must possess a clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
• Must have own reliable transportation 

*Must be willing to learn new procedures and tasks to add to your experience. 

*40+ hours per week with possible occasional overtime depending on workload

*8:00AM-5:00PM, Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday work
