Job Summary:
A fast paced food manufacturer is seeking a Sanitation Lead shift to develop and maintain HACCP, allergen, and related programs; manage sanitation chemical suppliers; train sanitation team members on all steps of plant clean-up; assist in leading continuous improvement activities for facility sanitation; develop sanitation procedures and paperwork for the facility; and delegate tasks to sanitation team members. This is an evaluation hire role with potential to continue growing with the company!
Location: Grand Rapids – Downtown
Position Type: Full-Time, Evaluation Hire
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience working in food manufacturing
- Knowledgeable of GMPs, HACCP, SQF, allergens, and master sanitation schedules as well as other legal requirements for the food industry
- Experience with pest control programs
- Understanding of the 10 principles of sanitary equipment design
- Ability to train on 1st shift but transfer to 3rd shift at a later date
