Medical Assistant

The primary responsibility for this position is assisting in the implementation and monitoring/guiding patients through their proposed therapeutic exercise routines and physical medicine modalities. Additional duties include taking vital signs, assisting in passive patient procedures, as well as light administrative duties (answering phones, scheduling patients, collecting payments, etc).

The ideal candidate has some working knowledge and experience with assisting patients with physical medicine modalities, however, we are willing to train the right candidate.

An upbeat, goal driven, outgoing personality with the ability to talk to anyone (extroverted) personality is a must! We have a close knit, family oriented environment and patient interaction is key to patient satisfaction. This is a full time position and we are looking for a long term placement in our office.

Our current hours of operation are 8:30am-7pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 8:30am-2:00pm Fridays and 8:30am to 1pm on Saturday hours are mandatory. We are looking for someone who can fulfill these hours, but also have some flexibility in their schedule as assistants do rotate on Saturdays.
