Shipping Associate - Warehouse Distribution - Full-time / Part-time

Excellent Temp-to-Hire Opportunity for Well Qualified Distribution Associate - Shipping

Easton / Forks Area

• 1st Shift: 9 AM – 4:45 PM (2x 15 minute paid breaks and 45 minute unpaid lunch).
  • Busy season OT hours are 7am – 5:45pm
  • Monday - Friday
  • Occasional Saturday, but rarely happens
• $13.50/hour

Shipping - Outbound:

Picking and Packaging –

• Utilizing push cart throughout warehouse, pick parts orders
• Bringing parts back to pack station
  • packing orders in proper size boxes
  • labeling boxes and determine where the boxes need to go (several modes of transportation are utilized)
• Fast paced environment - candidates definitely need a sense of urgency
• Orders are received until 5 PM and are shipped overnight via FedEx
• Workers in this department will with work with another employee for the first full week
• There are KPI standards in these job functions.

Preferred Skills

• Prior forklift experience using manual handle pump jacks, standup and sit-down forklifts, and Cherry pickers .
• General Warehouse experience - Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving.
• Quality and attention to detail orientated – client is a high visibility / high prestige company and requires highest quality standards.
• Positive Attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pushing, and standing/walking on concrete surfaces.
• Ability to work in warehouse environment with varied temperatures as the seasons change.
• High School graduate or GED required.
