The Staffing Consultant plays a vital role as the liaison between both the client companies and associates. The main functions are recruiting, hiring, and retaining associates. The day to day would include account management, interviewing, recruiting, reference checks, business meetings, and client development. We hire humble, hungry and smart employees- we will train the rest!

Responsibilities and duties of the Staffing Consultant / Recruiter:

  • Recruiting and Employment – develops and maintains recruiting sources to ensure consistent applicant flow. Conducts job interviews, administers testing, and evaluates applicant skills abilities and availability. Verifies references, degrees and certifications.
  • Client Relations – receives and processes business inquiries. Receives job orders, tour client facilities, pricing and negotiation.
  • Employee Relations - monitors and records associate performance and provide necessary feedback, provides counseling, terminates unsatisfactory associates, comply with federal and state regulations.
  • Administration and Documentation
  • Sales (warm leads)
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Skills and Requirements needed for Staffing Consultant / Recruiter:

  • At least high school diploma / GED equivalent required. Some college coursework in business is preferred
  • At least 2 years of previous experience working in a business /office setting
  • Proficient in MS Word and Outlook, some Excel is preferred. Ability to learn custom Applicant Tracking System.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
