Estimator

Office Environment. Fast Pace and Team Oriented. Dress Code is Jeans and Nice shirt. Will have their own cubicle or desk within the Estimating department. The team consists of Operations Manager, 2-3 Field Superintendents, 18 laborers and 2 Project Managers/Sales/Estimators. Selling points for this position is are how busy the company is, how much they are growing and the opportunity for advancement. This position has the chance to become the Estimating Division Manger for Concrete.

Must Haves:
Concrete Estimating
Structural and Flat concrete experience
On Screen Take Offs Software (OST)

5 years experience within the concrete sector. Would entertain less experience if they are proficient with OST Software (On Screen Take Offs). Experience with Managing people would be a huge plus

Doing take offs for the projects they are estimating and handing them over to the PM's to conduct the pricing. They will need to look at a set of plans and recognize how much materials will be needed for each project. (Example is how much re-bar will that concrete beam need). The first day they will start their 2-3 week on boarding process to help them acknowledge their processes. Then they will be handed a set of plans to start doing take offs. They will be measured by the efficiency and accuracy of the jobs. Also will need to complete 5-6 jobs per week. Also attitude will be a big factor. They have quarterly and yearly business reviews that could involve compensation raises
