The Opportunity

We have a newly opened, exciting opportunity available for a Pantry Cook. This position is a key member of the culinary team, producing and executing all cold food items on the restaurant menu. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Complete all prep work for cold line

  • Prepare all orders as ordered and to chefs' specifications

  • Responsible for the delivery of high quality, attractively presented food to our guests in a timely manner

  • Adhere to ServSafe procedures and label, date, wrap and rotate all product 

  • Able to work safely and securely in a manner that protects the integrity and safety of the guest, associates and hotel

  • Clean entire station before leaving, which includes all surfaces       

  • Maintain under counter cooler and shelves on daily basis for cleanliness and organization

  • Assist with food prep for banquets and/or hot line as needed

  • Ensures compliance with all corporate policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction

  • Communicate with fellow associates on a professional business level at all times                               

 

Qualifications

 

  • Posses knowledge of Culinary Arts

  • Memorize preparation instructions

  • Proven ability to comprehend documents such as menus, recipes, production schedules, reports, and procedure manuals  

  • Able to attend work reliably 

  • Proven ability to multi-task and take direction

  • Ability to lead and train by example; ensuring compliance with standards, rules, and regulations
