Job Summary:
The Hospitality Aide works alongside the nursing department preforming non-nursing, non-direct/hands-on duties pertaining to the comfort and well-being of the patients of the facility. Some of these duties include: making beds, passing water to patients, serving/ removing food trays, answering call lights, cleaning/changing linens, transporting patients around the facility, inventorying patient s personal items upon admission, and other non-nursing activities.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must have the desire to care for people, especially those who are elderly and chronically ill
- Must be capable of following oral and written instructions
- Must be able to write simple records and reports under supervision
- Must have a pleasant and courteous manner
- Must speak, understand, and write fluently in English
- Must have reliable transportation
