Insurance Verification Specialist
Have an immediate need for 3 EEs to join them on a temp basis. Position has the possibility of going perm for someone with the right attitude, punctuality, commitment to being there and work ethic.
Have an immediate need for 3 EEs to join them on a temp basis. Position has the possibility of going perm for someone with the right attitude, punctuality, commitment to being there and work ethic.
- Healthcare background
- Performing about 20 verifications per day
- High pace / high volume environment
- Prior experience working in patient access area in a hospital highly preferred
- Able to understand and explain the full AR revenue cycle
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize is important
- Must be proficient w/ MS Outlook and Excel (basic sorting, filtering of data)
- Prior experience working with Payor Portals (BCBS, Medicare, Medicaid) is a big plus
- Understanding of a Medicare Replacement plan is a plus
- Team-oriented, but work is independent, They are constantly redistributing work on the team depending on volume and complexity of workload
- Technical skills are highly important. Someone who is comfortable working on 3 monitors at once
