Space & In-Store Communications Analyst Internship
BASIC PURPOSE: Space & In-Store Communications Analyst Intern role is to develop, support, maintain application systems, and communications methodologies. The person will be required to troubleshoot issues relating to Store, Floor, Assortment Planning and related applications, as well as, on-shelf communications and digital media as required to meet merchandising objectives. Must leverage personal knowledge base and become a subject matter expert with these and other supporting systems. Build relationships with; application driven support personnel, Love’s internal support teams, merchandising category management team, suppliers, and feel comfortable holding them accountable in support of Merchandising objectives.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in on-going business process support of Store, Floor and Assortment planning initiatives
- Provide support and participate in enhancements of On-shelf Communications tool
- Analyze past and current sales trends and recommend store layouts to maximize in store sales
- Organize, understand and carry out all Floor Planning administrative tasks
- Coordinate Space to Sales review using Floorplan Space Allocation and Analysis of planogram / category space to sales review
- Build relationships with IT personnel or responsible parties of our trading partners
- Seek the synergy of other departments in setting and achieving cost saving goals and benefits
- Other duties assigned as needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education: Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Related Major preferred and/or 5 years equivalent work experience
