Lube Tech and Porter (San Leandro)

Seeking a porter and a lube technician for our growing service department at Nicholas Parks Hyundai Kia. Experience not required as we will train. This is full time position. This is an entry level position. We look to the most experienced lube technician when we have an opening for higher level technician. Training will be a part of the job and the hire will learn how to do basic inspections on customers vehicles and new cars prior to delivery. WE OFFER: * Competitive health insurance package * 401k program * Paid sick days * Paid training * Paid vacation RESPONSIBILITIES: * Moving vehicles around lot * Perform multi point inspections on vehicles * Work with service writers to inform them on customer vehicle needs * Perform oil changes, air filter changes, and other maintenance work on vehicles * Properly organize and sort materials in shop. REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to pass a drug test * Must have a clean dmv record * Basic driving and navigation ability * Friendly communication * Hard working attitude and desire to learn * Safety knowledge and skills * Speak and write English * Communicate effectively * Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals * Basic computer skills to use computer based service system
