Make a Difference in Your Community: Sylvan Learning in West Covina is Now Hiring Math and ELA Academic Instructors As a part-time Sylvan Instructor, you will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group, 3:1 setting. We offer instruction in Reading, Writing, Math, Study Skills, SAT/ACT Prep and State exams to students of all levels. We also offer our new STEM courses, which consists of Math Edge, Robotics, and Coding (Game Design). As a part-time instructor at Sylvan, your primary responsibilities are: Just Teaching! No Lesson Plans. If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team! Our West Covina Center has instructor positions open now. We are looking for teachers that can teach mathematics grades K-8, reading, HS English, HS Writing and ACT/SAT Prep. As a part-time instructor, you will need to be available 4-20 hours/week, between the hours of 2:30pm-7:30pm Monday-Thursday, 2:30pm-6:30pm Fridays, Saturdays 9:30am-1:30pm and maybe some Sundays. We are open year-round.
