The Milwaukee Westin is currently hiring for a Chief Engineer.

The Chief Engineer will supervise the operation, maintenance and repair of hotel equipment and the hotel itself. This position may work in an office setting or throughout the hotel, as they address repairs, conduct preventative maintenance, and conduct inspections. This individual will work with contractors, vendors, and fellow associates to ensure the hotel exceeds guest expectations at all times. In addition, the Chief Engineer will oversee the maintenance team by conducting leadership responsibilities such as scheduling, payroll, training, as well as ensure the department meets financial expectations. This position also plays a key role in life safety measures/audits/inspections throughout the hotel.

Candidates should have experience in a similar Chief Engineer role with a full understanding of hotel operations. High School diploma required. Associates degree in building maintenance (or similar trade) preferred. Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, machine maintenance, and safety principles highly desired. Candidates should have the ability to troubleshoot, as situations arise, while being able to multi-task and meet various deadlines.
