We are seeking associates looking for a long term opportunity for a local food manufacturer. Associate will be responsible for loading/unloading ingredients and ensuring that mixing, weighing, and cooking is performed properly. The ideal candidate for our Processing opening would have experience using forklifts, and be able to read and follow instructions to complete manufacturing process. Position is a long term opportunity for the right associate who shows commitment and desire to learn and grow with the company.
Pay starts at $12.00 hour
Job Duties MAY Include:
- Moving large bags of raw ingredients into mixers
- Using forklifts to move pallets
- Operating machine to process mixed food into ovens
- Loading machines
- Any other duties given by supervisor
What we look for in Processing workers:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly
- Experience using forklift
- Must be detail oriented and able to stay on task
- Able to stand for duration of shift
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Able to work long hours starting early in the morning, possible Saturdays during peak seasons
- Drug free
- Reliable and committed to being at work for all scheduled shifts
- Dependable transportation
