Job Description:
Local Highlands Ranch clinic seeking two qualified Medical Receptionists for immediate hire. Candidates will be checking patients in and out, answering incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments for 3 providers in the office, working on claims edits and make corrections, accepting payments if there is a balance due on an account, scanning documents that have come in from the providers or paperwork on new patients.
Qualifications:
- Looking for someone with at least 2 years of Customer Service or Administrative experience
- Prefer experience in healthcare, but not required (this can be taught)
- Has previous roles where they have had to interact with customers face-to-face and/or over the phone
- EPIC Electronic Health Records program experience preferred
- Previous EHR or EMR experience highly preferred
- Medical Data Entry
- Type 35+ WPM
Performance Expectations:
- Answer calls within the first 3 rings
- Enter new patient information (4-5 pages worth of information), entered within 3-5 minutes
Work Environment:
- Will be working at a Highlands Ranch family clinic
- Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30a -4:30p, but there may be some days where the hours change from 8:00a- 5:00p
- Starting on December 31st, once a week will have to work a shift starting at 6:30 AM and will work 8 hours
