2nd Shift General Fabrication

General Summary:  General Fabrication – Support production by performing general fabricating duties to insure balanced work flow for subsequent manufacturing processes.     Principal Accountabilities:  

• Safety is the most critical priority; must fulfill job responsibilities safely
• Perform General Fabrication duties to achieve a balanced work flow in support of subsequent manufacturing processes; Separating laser cut parts from their parent sheet stacking them effectively, deburring and removing laser tabs, oxide removal, drilling and tapping, vibratory deburring, metal finishing (Wide Belt Sander) and installation of fasteners (PEM Style).
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Other duties as assigned
• Note: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
•   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: (See attached)  

• Achieve and maintain outstanding safety performance
• Ability to use electric and pneumatic hand tools as well as basic manufacturing equipment
• Ability to keep like parts and job folders organized, separated and properly stacked for subsequent operations
• Ability to secure Forklift certification
• High School Diploma or GED; 18 years of age or older
• Attention to detail, multi-tasking abilities, problem solving skills, and good organizational skills
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Ability to effectively communicate with others
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to lift 50-70 pounds
• Work independently or in a team in a self-directed work environment

• Monday thru Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am (1/2hr unpaid lunch)
