Global Security Operations Center Operator - San Jose, CA - Full-time / Part-time

Seeking a dynamic individual to join our securiy operations center team.

Pay Rate: $22.00-$23.00/hour DOE

Location: Downtown San Jose

• Must pass the Critical testing with a score of 80% or greater
• Strong Understanding and troubleshooting of CCTV and Physical Control System
• Must have a working knowledge of how a Global Security Operations Center functions
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older per contractual requirements

Job Description

The Global Security Operations Center Zone One Operator is responsible for handing all alarm monitoring, radio dispatch, emergencies and phone communications inside the GSOC. The successful candidate will be a problem solver, possess critical thinking skills and be detail oriented. They must have a strong interest in access control systems and desire to work in a team environment. Daily responsibilities will focus on the monitoring alarms, handling radio communications, dispatch field officers, and answering phone calls. As needed, this person will also be required to assist with creating work orders, process e-mails, and video investigations.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Major Duties)

• Mange the access control system alarms
• Monitor radio traffic of local and remote sites
• Create dispatch cases for every officer that is dispatched during your shift
• Help Photo ID by issue checkout badges and keys when he is busy or unavailable
• Initiate incident reports and work orders for situations that require one
• Assist Adobe employees, security staff, vendors and Adobe requests as needed
• Makes all required notifications (send word now, calling security management).
• Handles incoming phone calls

SKILL REQUIREMENTS (To Perform Job Duties)

• Must pass the Critical testing with a score of 80% or greater
• Strong Understanding and troubleshooting of CCTV and Physical Control Systems
• Must be able to multi task
• Have strong prioritizing abilities
• Ability to stay calm and give directions under pressure
• Ability to analyze problems, identify causes, and implement results oriented solutions

SKILL REQUIREMENTS GSOC Analyst (To Perform Job Duties)

• Excellent organizational and time management ability. Must be competent and literate with computers.
• Must have the ability to develop and write clear and concise emails and memos
• Ability to handle high pressure situations and make sound decisions
• A professional demeanor, along with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Current Guard Card
• Must have a working knowledge of how a Global Security Operations Center functions
• Must be knowledgeable of all client and company GSOC policies and procedures
• Must pass a pre-employment background check
• Have a strong knowledge of security and emergency operations
• Possess a solid employment history demonstrating reliability and dependability
• Must successfully pass drug and alcohol screening
• Reliable means of transportation
