ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING / RN FULL TIME   Seeking a take charge individual with managerial experience  in a short stay rehab facility, as well as a long term care setting.  Must have up to date knowledge of all current federal and state regulations governing nursing facilities.       REQUIREMENTS:   RN with at least 5 years experience Good working knowledge of clinical standards of practice and regulationsStrong organizational skillsCustomer service skills are a mustManagerial experience preferred   SUMMARY OF POSITION:   Assists the Director of Nursing in the planning, organization, control, utilization and evaluation of all the nursing services provided in the facilityCarries out this assistance so that nursing services are managed within budget and in compliance with federal, state and local regulations and corporate policyAssists in keeping records and compiling reports as directedAssists in training nursing services personnelAssists in maintaining adequate staffing levels when neededCoordinates resident assessmentsMaintains positive employee relationsEnsures that all levels of nursing personnel are assigned duties consistent with their education, experience and trainingAssists in maximizing Medicare and Medicaid opportunities through proper care and complete documentationEnforces appropriate standards of precaution throughout the facilityMakes rounds daily to ensure that each resident is receiving the highest quality of careAssists in ensuring that physician visits and charting meet all federal, state and local requirementsAs directed, meets with the Dietary Services Manager to review resident diets and nourishment orders     FRIENDSHIP HEALTH & REHAB CONTACT: SHAWNA CORLEY, RN/DON 7400 FRIENDSHIP DRIVE PEWEE VALLEY, KY 40056 502-241-8821       The Courier Journal.
