Planning and execution of multiple cutting edge business and strategic projects supporting the extension and development of business channels for Home Services. This position forms partnerships with internal businesses for the expansion of value-added services and capabilities. This position forms strategic partnerships with external partners to create new services, adding value to the Home Services customer experience.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides complete organizational management for assigned projects
  • Coordinates project planning from the initial proposal stage through valuation analysis, resource planning, through project
  • administration to project completion.
  • Performs post-implementation cost/benefit reviews and documents lessons learned during project administration
  • Defines each project's scope, develops work breakdown structures, forecasts required resources, identifies the program's value to
  • the organization (NPV), proposes and defends prioritization, allocates work packages, identifies the critical path with contingency
  • plans for crashing the program and provides intra-project supervision and management reviews
  • Provides creative leadership for improving the program management administrative process
  • Trains subordinates and cooperates with other functional managers as necessary to achieve efficient implementation of each
  • project's goals
  • Enlists corporate and field personnel as necessary to investigate the potential for adding value to existing project proposals
  • through business reengineering
  • Presents those opportunities to management during the scope setting phase of each program
  • Provides complete organizational management for assigned projects


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3-4 years of related experience
  • 18 years of age or older


REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodology
  • Years of experience in multi project management with a large company
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Strong relationship building capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools
  • Advanced knowledge of quality improvement principles, tools and techniques (structured problem solving, process mapping and capacity and resource planning)
  • Strong analytical aptitude with exposure to both financial valuation and process optimization
  • Advanced software skills (statistical, database, spreadsheet, word processing, general graphics)
  • Moderate understanding of mainframe database structures and processing


PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Master's in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience in service industry
