This is an entry level position into this international company’s sales and marketing department.
Job Description:
Work with a team that is qualifying new and existing customers to increase the active customer account base, maintain active and healthy dialogue with customers, negotiate contracts, provide price and delivery quotes, process, research and expedite customer orders, monitor and ensure delivery date and product quality, achieve specified profit margins, contact inactive customers, provide information to customers and prospective customers, utilize company computer system, and expand product knowledge. An eye for detail, proofreading for accuracy and maintaining quality expectations are required.
Qualifications:
Successful sales experience. Retail sales experience is acceptable.
Demonstrates persuasiveness, tenacity, and strong selling skills.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good presentation skills.
Exhibits strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
Must be organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, proportions and percentages.
Ability to write reports and correspondence proficiently and professionally.
Reads, analyzes and interprets business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations.
Able to work with minimum supervision and make responsible decisions.
Ability to type 40+ words per minute.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at a basic level required.
