Internship Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Not have already completed two consecutive (spring/fall) College or Professional Internship Programs
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license
  • Must provide full work availability. The approximate dates of this internship are June 2018 through December 2018
  • Must provide own transportation to/from work
  • Must provide a valid current U.S. driver's license

Responsibilities

The goal of the team is to excel at exceeding expectations of our Walt Disney World Cast who request support through a Call Center environment, receiving ~54k phone calls and ~85k emails/portal requests each year.

Make an impact by…

  • Providing support for the management of 30+ processes necessary to adequately support the Labor Attendance and Time Team components of the Labor Service Center and 90+ audits to correct various system defects and ensure compliance with policy, contracts, and law
  • Interacting with various department Cast and Leaders to develop process improvements for this operation
  • Assisting with testing new enhancements to systems prior to implementation to ensure proper functionality
  • Assisting with developing and maintaining system and process documentation
  • Partnering with appropriate Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Human Resource, Finance, Compensation, DWSS Payroll, Global HR Ops and Information Technology teams as required
