Journeyman Electrician

Hiring for journeyman electricians to assist with the construction and maintenance of commercial solar installations throughout the Central Valley. We are hiring for individuals that are looking for an opportunity for growth as we continue to grow as well as take pride in their work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leading the installation of electrical systems that interconnect our solar array to the grid power of commercial solar projects
• Will work primarily on NexTracker Ground Mount Systems.
• Ensuring work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes
• Troubleshoot and provide resolution in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment
• Working with operations managers to fulfill any necessary system upgrades/repairs to support our solar equipment
• Provide on-site technical assistance to electrical crew
• Communicate with customers and co-workers effectively
• Work with local inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations
• Train, mentor and develop electrical apprentices

Requirements:

• Active Journeyman Certification
• Working knowledge of construction, electrical work, systems, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with underground electrical, string wiring of panels, wiring combiner boxes and inverter knowledge
• Reliable transportation
