LPN

Department:  Escanaba Location:  610 S. Lincoln Road • Escanaba, MI 49829 Schedule:  Full time (36 hours/week) Days; Hours vary between 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Responsible for nursing care under the direct supervision of the Provider/Registered Nurse. Records nursing care given and reports to appropriate person with changes in patient's condition; consults with RN/Provider when uncertain about nursing or medical act; provides basic health instructions and reinforces teaching by other health team members. MI LPN license or graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program required. If Medical Assistant, American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certification required within 3 months of hire. If not successful in passing AAMA exam first attempt, will allow additional testing period(s) to obtain (not to exceed an additional 3 months). Basic computer/keyboarding skills, excellent verbal/written communication skills, team player, ability to multi-task, organized, independent and sensitive to patient needs required.
