Assist the HR Supervisor and Coordinator with the following:
  • Receive all new hire paperwork and review for completeness, including but not limited to I-9’s, Federal and state tax forms, benefits enrollment forms, direct deposit and/or total pay card forms, personnel action requests, and other required forms.
  • Maintaining employee files, paper copies and electronic files.
  • Assist with maintaining & updating New Hire Packs as required.
  • Process pre-employment background checks, drug and alcohol screens, physical exams, audiograms, and any other required testing for pre-employment purposes.
  • Audit random drug tests and testing notification reports to ensure compliance.
  • Review and audit annual drug testing requirements to ensure compliance with customer contacts.
  • Maintain and update driver files, including applications, driver logs, yearly driving checks and other documentation as needed to stay in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
  • Create, maintain and answer questions regarding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all locations.
  • Prepare and maintain various reports, tracking spreadsheets, surveys, etc.
  • If you have Customer Service experience, some HR and good clerical skills they will train you.
