Job Description:
Interface with clients in order to structure, negotiate and close complex structured financing transactions that meet the client's financing objectives while achieving the optimal terms and conditions for the firm. Interact directly with clients, lawyers, accountants, appraisers, credit underwriters and investors in order to create financial solutions that meet the needs of the various parties involved. Coordinate activities among issuing clients and investor syndicates to ensure efficient transaction execution.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree -- accounting, finance, economics, math or other business concentration; MBA, JD preferred.
Prior Work Experience:
Fifteen or more years of experience in the financial services industry with direct responsibility for originating, structuring, negotiating and closing complex structured financing transactions preferably in equipment finance and leasing industry.
Required Skills:
* In-depth knowledge of leasing and secured lending products/solutions
* Solid knowledge in tax accounting, financial accounting, asset valuation and commercial, tax and bankruptcy law
* Exceptional analytical skills
* Experience in financial analysis
* Proven negotiation skills
* Strong communication skills
* Effective presentation skills
* Proficiency with MS Office software applications
* Exhibit teamwork
* Travel 20%
* Preferred location Boston and San Francisco, but will consider certain alternative locations.
