Sonbyrne Sales, Inc. retail division of Byrne Dairy, is looking for an experienced Recruiting Specialist who is willing to grow with a family owned, operated and local company.  

The recruiting specialist is responsible for recruiting top talent.  The recruiting specialist will support the HR team with a variety of recruiting and administrative functions.  Duties will include; full cycle recruiting support to Byrne Dairy convenience stores, Shelby Bakery, Sonbyrne warehouse and Sonbyrne corporate office, management of the applicant tracking system, assisting with day to day operations of the HR department and conducting employee orientation.  

Key Responsibilities:
Complete full life cycle recruiting for all positions within Sonbyrne Sales.
Scheduling, coordinating and conducting interviews.
Continually evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of recruiting process.
Provide support to candidates and hiring managers who have questions or require assistance.
Create and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers during hiring and onboarding fulfillment process to ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience.
Look for new trends in the recruiting industry that will assist in finding and attracting top talent.
Review and create of all recruitment materials such as flyers and brochures. 
Initiate on-boarding process for new hires.
Initiate pre-employment tasks.
Assist with the planning, development and implementation of recruitment strategies.
Provide administrative support to the Human Resource Department.
Travel to Byrne Dairy retail stores throughout New York.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years recruiting/human resource experience.
Associates degree in business administration, human resource management.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Must be detailed oriented, highly organized and strong customer service skills.
Ability to adapt to change in work assignments and environment, is willing to assume additional responsibility and learn new processes.
