PeopleReady has an immediate need for Floor Technicians. 5 Locations, 3 different shifts available. Fulltime work.
Starting pay 9.50. Pay to increase after training, and possible temp to perm for the right person!
Job Description
The duties of a Floor Technician are to operate buffers, sweepers, strippers, mops and other equipment but not limited to the following:
Clean hallways and other areas
Strip and Wax floors
Mop and clean floors
Understand chemicals usage
Vacuum offices and common areas
Chemicals:
Operate chemical dispensing units
Properly measure chemicals that are not provided in dispenser form
Understand how to read MSDS sheets
Properly label chemicals
Wear proper PPE when working with chemicals/equipment
Equipment:
Floor sweepers
Buffers/Strippers
Canister vacuums
Shop vacs
A criminal background check, results of which are not necessarily a bar to employment, and a drug screen are required.
