Part-Time CAREGiver

Part Time CAREGivers Needed! 

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for part time, caring and compassionate CAREGivers in Broward County. Become a part of our team and provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Transportation to appointments, shopping and activities
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer's Care

Prior Caregiving Experience is Preferred but not required.

All CAREGivers must complete the Home Instead Senior Care 4-day orientation.

Requirements to be a CAREGiver are:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Speak, read and write in English
• Demonstrated reliability and trustworthiness
• Complete the AHCA Level II background check, DMV check, and drug screen
• Possess a valid Florida driver's license, vehicle and valid Florida auto insurance
• Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience in the United States
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Be able to lift 25 pounds
• Must be available to work a consistent schedule of 12-40 hours per week
