This Job Description defines minimum standards of performance and skills required to function as a Sales Manager in a Rent-2-Own Store.  In addition to these minimum standards, each Sales Manager must be willing to identify and perform tasks which contribute to the overall mission of the Rent-2-Own business and its relationship with our valued customers. This position is accountable for assisting the Store Manager in the operation of a Rental Store to attain objectives in UOR level, delinquency rate, customer service and store profitability. He or she is accountable for directing the daily activities of the Sales Team towards established goals for customer and revenue growth. The Sales Manager is to support the responsibility of the Store Manager in the operation of policies and procedures established by the company. This Sales Manager must work with the Manager to improve sales revenue while controlling the cost of operations. The Sales Manager must communicate to all employees the factors that cause a store to be successful and which of those factors they can impact through their daily job. A continuing challenge of the Rent-2-Own Sales Manager, who directs the CSR team, is to consistently apply professional prospecting techniques to generate new business while maintaining a high level of customer service for current customers, and a “Rent Ready” showroom. The Sales Manager will work closely with the CSRs to solicit new business each day by following the training and prescribed methods of the company’s solicitation programs. 

Requirements

	Strong leadership and team management skills.
	Ability to handle a large number of administrative duties.
	Ability to work effectively with employees, the store support staff, and the Company leadership. 
	Ability to convey a positive and professional image to customers and employees.
	Satisfactory work record and attendance and a High school graduate or equivalent. 
	Strong verbal communication, writing, organizational, computer, internet and problem solving skills.
	Prior Sales, Retail, Customer Service experience. 
	Must be dependable, reliable and mature enough to handle all types of monetary transactions. 
	Willingness to work within the policies, procedures and ethics established by the company
	Able to properly lift and repetitively maneuver all store products and equipment including but not limited to household furniture, appliances and electronics by using proper equipment and safe lifting techniques. 
	The ability to maintain and organize computer and paper files.

	Assist the Store Manager in selecting and training a team of employees capable of meeting store objectives. 
	Follows all Company policies and procedures for customer approval standards, recording sales, completing agreements, receiving monies and helping the Store Manager control inventory. 
	Maintains the sales floor ensuring that product is working properly, point of purchase material is in place, products are priced correctly, and the store is safe, clean and ready to receive customers.  “Rent Ready”
	Assists the customers and oversees all rental order forms and proper order form verifications.  
	Continually develops and trains sales skills techniques and on-going product knowledge information.
	Oversees and trains CSRs pricing products. 
	Achieves personal levels of weekly rentals as well as customer, store and revenue growth.
	Monitors the performance of each CSR: identifies problem areas and takes timely corrective action. 
	Participates with management in the development and planning of goals, budgets and objectives for the store...
	Monitors all store facilities, vehicles and equipment to protect the store, its contents and employees from injury or loss 
	Follows all Company policies and procedures for sales, inventory and delinquency standards. 
	Works with the Store Manager in maintaining confidential customer and store information within company procedures. 
	Oversees proper asset, financial and banking procedures. 
	Cleans and repairs product as needed in addition to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized counter area
