About this job
Staffmark Skilled Trades is currently resourcing Welders for 1st and 2nd shift in the Fairfield, Ohio area. The Welder will be working indoors, in an industrial manufacturing environment. The Welder will be analyzing blueprints, welding, maintaining production standards and producing consistently accurate work.
Experience needed:
*1-2 years experience in welding
*Ability to read and understand blueprints, including welding diagrams and symbols.
*Ability to use hand tools
*Understanding of the fabrication process
The Welder will be responsible for:
*Performing production welding following the companies standardized work processes and quality procedures
*Performs visual quality checks and takes appropriate action to correct defects
*Prepares materials for welding, cuts, grinds and cleans metal
*Other essential duties as assigned
