Electrical Engineer - Full-time

Requirements:            Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering + at least 2 years of experience

Coordinate, analyze and calculate for relay protection and prepare construction drawings for electrical high voltage substations, Bill of Materials, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Digital Fault Recording (DFR), Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), relay coordination and CAD experience; Develop electrical substation design documents including, but not limited to, one line, plot plan, schematic diagrams, panel elevations, wiring diagrams, electrical equipment layout plans and details, grounding plans and details, conduit plans and details, bills-of-material, cable schedule, and conduit;  Coordinate design activities with other disciplines, including, but not limited to, civil and structural engineering; Monitor applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications; Interact daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements; attend site meetings with client representatives and other disciplines to facilitate defining project scopes; provide field construction support to address Requests-for-Information (RFI’s); assist project managers in developing technical details for project proposals.
