Job Description

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  •  Engages in opportunity research through marketing data and direct customer contact, with strong focus on ROI.
  •  Assists in building a best-in-class new customer/market engagement process, leveraging internal and external resources as needed.
  • Develops methodology and actively engages in marketing and selling our capabilities to open new customers and markets.
  • Drive Market Development plans in support of the company business plan.
  • Develops and recommends product positioning, packaging and pricing strategy.
  • Participates in advertising and promotion activities.
  • Cultivates, manages and nurtures relationships with key customers as well as external resources/vendors that result in reliable, quality products and ultimately client satisfactio

Requirements:

  • 10 plus years in Business Development / Market Development role.
  • Experience supporting sales in Manufacturing organization.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Sales experience in Lighting market preferred (plastics or otherwise).

Compensation:

  • Base plus bonus based on achievement of key market development and new business objectives. It is not based on commissioned sales.
