Established used auto sales company seeks entry level auto technician for busy shop.
Candidates will have a minimum 1-2 years hands on experience preferrably in a garage setting. Must be able to diagnose and repair autos, light duty trucks and SUV's...experienced in but not limited to ABS brakes, suspension, wheel bearings, tie rods, exhaust, electrical, head gaskets, window arms, fuel lines, brake lines, filler necks, replace engines and transmissions, etc. Further experience will include knowledge and use of scan tools, smoker, computer using Mitchell or All-Data or other similar program. Candidates will have the ability to communicate both written and verbally with management and customers.
Candidates will have a positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, ability to wok alone or and as a team, have an excellent work ethic including honesty, integrity, dependability, have a clean/neat appearance and a valid NYS driver's license.
WE OFFER: A positive work environment, fair hourly wage (no flat rate), full-time 40 hours; M-F, insurance, paid holidays/sick and personal time/vacation, 401k, bonuses, uniforms and tools provided and opportunity for advancement whenever possible.
