We are looking for a Warehouse Wave Planner for our Edison office. The Wave Planner will assist the Warehouse department in prioritizing work flow throughout the distribution center in order to meet business needs. The Wave Planner will be responsible for wave planning, coordinating orders with customer service, tracking the progress of waves, releasing work to the floor and maintaining communication with the operations management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resolve order product shortages and manages order cuts
• Review and update base priorities weekly to reduce manual priority changes
• Updates the wave load sheets and print orders to dispatch
• Assigns and monitors distribution including staging, wave times and pick assignments for various loads
• Ensures proper order allocation by shipment ID or shipment line depending on the load
• Prioritizes all inbound and outbound loads and prepares loading reports
• Priorities all loads to make sure loads are in the queue
• Reviews both inbounds and outbound loads for discrepancies, any shortages filed or special request before closing out trucks
• Troubleshoot and correct system problems

DESIRIED SKILLS:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail and deadline- oriented
• Computer skills including warehouse management system, Microsoft Office, Excel

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Previous experience working in a distribution center environment
