Cage Wash Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Permanent Position: 4x10 hr. shifts- 4 days on, 4 days off. Must be flexible to work weekends if your shift falls on Saturday and/or Sunday. FT, permanent job with benefits.

Cage Wash Operatives undertake all dish and cage washing procedures.
Provides support to in-life technicians, by assisting with routine procedures as necessary.
Maintain a high standard of animal room hygiene and presentation; utilize a broad range of cleaning materials, equipment and methods in the daily completion of these tasks. Perform routine and non-routine cleaning of laboratory areas and equipment. ​
Develops understanding of basic study design, company policies and standard operating procedures
Supports the team by completing a broad range of routine and repetitive tasks.
Actively contribute to the environmental enrichment, socialization and exercising of various laboratory animals and assist in the handling, restraint and manipulation of laboratory animals.
Promptly communicate animal health and welfare concerns to line manager or veterinary staff.
