MUST HAVES:
* Bachelor's degree in environmental science, environmental, chemistry, biology, engineering or other related science disciplines
* At least 1 internship in environmental field
* 40 hour OSHA (CFR 1910.120)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Seeking an Environmental Specialist I to assist in regulated waste and resource recovery

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manifesting
* Packaging / lab packing / consolidation of chemicals and waste
* Spill response
* Traveling to client sites with managers (client interaction)
* Meeting with our customers and physically loading the materials onto the truck using a variety of methods
* Labeling
* Loading/unloading trucks
* Coordinating transportation
* Sampling/profiling material
* Drum management / container management
* Classifying / separating chemicals
* Hazardous and non-hazardous material handling
* General maintenance and up-keeping

CLIENTS:
* Fortune 500 firms, Pharmaceutical firms, BMS, Merck, Novartis, NYC Institutions

OTHER:
* This job requires physical labor (will have to lift up to 50 lbs)
