A company near downtown Mooresville is looking for a Technical Assembler to work Monday through Thursday from 7am to 5pm. This is a temp to hire position and starting pay is $10 an hour. Summary and objective:
This position is for a technical assembler to work on 1st shift in the Slide Line Work Cell. This person will be trained initially to prep components and work at the slide line and then to run the selective solder and the wave solder machines. Associates in this area are flexible and work together to get process steps accomplished.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Prep components as required and insert into PCBs per Aegis visual aids and customer requirements.
Work where needed in the slide line work cell.
Setup and run the wave solder machine (as a backup).
Setup and run the selective solder machine (as a backup).
Perform preventive maintenance activities on the wave and selective solder machines.
Help troubleshoot process and equipment problems when assemblies are not running well or are nonconforming.
Qualifications:
IPC 610 certification desired
Excellent communication skills -- both written and verbal
Problem solving and analysis skills required
Attention to detail and organized
Computer literacy required
Must be technically minded as appropriate to run equipment
May be required to stand for much of the shift to accomplish objectives
High school diploma or two years' experience
Job Details:
Reports to: Manufacturing Team Leader
Standard Hours: Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5:30pm (overtime is sometimes needed in this area)
Salary: To be determined based on the individual and where you are in your current pay range.
